FAQ

  • What time can I set up?

    Set-up for the exhibits can start at 9PM on Friday the 22nd. Tear down and exhibit disassembly will be on Sunday the 24th at ~6:15PM.  Delivery to Salon II will take place on the Friday the 22nd  and stored overnight.

  • How do I connect to WIFI?

    The WIFI access code will be available at the AIC registration desk and on various signs and slideshows around the conference.

  • Do I need to purchase carpet?

    Exhibit hall is carpeted. Booth/Table includes a table and 2 chairs.

  • When are the high traffic times in the hall?

    High traffic times include coffee breaks at 8am and 10am and the poster sessions (4:30 – 6:30pm).

  • I need to register additional co-workers, how do I do this?

    Please register your attendees here. If there is a last minute change in attendees, their registration can be accommodated at the registration desk. The registration desk opens up Friday afternoon and they will come to the 7th floor registration desk where we will give them their badge and let them know where they need to be on Saturday morning for set up. We have a keynote that they are welcome to attend on Friday night.

  • What is the exhibit hall layout?

  • How do I test my QR code scanner?

    Every attendee’s badge has a QR code with access to the attendee’s name, email and institution (Note: vendors and sponsors QR codes only contain name). Any QR reader can access this information. There are several free QR readers available through the Apple App Store and Google Play. A sample attendee QR code for testing is found on page 4 of the Prospectus.

  • Can I get a list of all of the attendees and their contact information?

    No, per our Privacy Policy, we do not disclose any personally identifiable information on our attendees.

  • What other fun things are going on at AIC?

    Every year we also host a raffle at the end of the last poster session. Attendees can get a card stamped by vendors for eligibility to enter the raffle. AIC brings an iPad as a grand prize. Please bring anything you are willing to donate to the raffle to the meeting. This has always been a really fun event and a great way to drum up interest and enthusiasm for our sponsors.

  • What kind of things can I donate for the raffle?

    T shirts, hats, electronics, water bottles, plushies, gift certificates for your company, gift certificates (amazon etc).

  • How do I book my stay?

  • Are there any COVID precautions?

    We will follow any rules put in place by the city of Chicago and the Marriott. Currently, masks are not required at indoor gatherings.
